In our weaving workshops our guests have woven waffle blankets, multi-color scarfs out of naturally dyed wool and carpets of many kinds. In most cases, the loom has been prepared in advance and our guest weavers have been able to concentrate 100% on weaving. It is also possible to go through the whole process from making the warp to dressing the loom but in that case you need to reserve more time.
Before you arrive, you need to decide what you would like to create as we need to decide on the pattern and materials in advance. Materials need to be ordered for you before your arrival. Most guests have been weaving 4-5 hours a day, appr. 1.5-2 hours at a time.
You will work in a weaving wagon with heating / ventilation any time you want and live in a log cabin with your own sauna as well. In addition to weaving, you can join your hostess walking dogs, take cycle tours and depending on season pick up berries or swim in a lake closeby.
